Having been a skipper/owner for 30 years and generally selling my catch to wholesalers along the south coast I am now beginning a new chapter in my career as a retailer. I will still be at sea for four days a week ensuring that things are done properly but am keen to let any prospective customers know that my produce is always the freshest and of the highest quality. My home port is Eastbourne in East Sussex but for the last few years have found myself fishing from Poole in Dorset. In the last three years I have been experimenting with fish traps and have found these to be a very selective method of fishing, with little waste and producing top quality fish.
