Our company's vessel catches over 600 tonnes of fish per year. We supply many customers throughout the UK with fresh and frozen products from pelagic species. We fish to roder and freeze to order.
We catch sardines from July to end of April; Herring October to December and Anchovies from November to January.
The catch is seldom aboard the vessel for more than 3 hours and is stored in ice chilled seawater tanks. On landing they are transferred into 400 kilo bins of fresh saltwater and ice thus maintaining quality. We operate a HACCP and full traceability system.
Our policy is to sell only and freeze only fish less than 18 hours from being landed.
